NEWS | Ollett-Hobson pleased to progress

Aaron Ollett-Hobson spoke to the media after the Dons beat North Wales Crusaders in the Betfred League One play-offs.

Ollett-Hobson scored his first try of the season in the 48-34 win at Stadiwm Zip World.

On the intensity of the play-offs:

“It was a tough game, we came out of the blocks firing but they came back into it after the break.

“Momentum is a big thing in rugby league and they had a lot of it but we stood strong to get the win.

“We knew we had to start well so to post some points early settled us down, and we built from there.

“It’s my first try of the season which feels good, there have been a few games I’ve been held-up so it was nice to make one count.”

On getting ready to go again at Keighley on Sunday:

“We know the Keighley game will be tough, but we’ve got some momentum at the right time.

“We’ve hit form in these play-offs and with players return it we’re up for the challenge.”
