NEWS | Tindall pleased with first Dons win

Liam Tindall was delighted to pick up his first two points in a Dons shirt after the victory over Barrow Raiders.

The Leeds Rhinos loanee scored an early-second half try in the 26-18 win at the Keepmoat Stadium.

On the performance:

“It was brilliant out there, we’ve been working hard in training to fix up our defence so it was great to see it come together.

“It’s well deserved, there were only a couple of silly errors which we can work on.

“My try felt like a long time coming, I almost had one in the first-half so when it did eventually happen I was buzzing.”

On the remainder of the campaign and trying to impress his parent club:

“We’ve got another three home games to go so this result can help us to build even more.

“Everyone is willing to work hard for each other even if we’re down on numbers, I couldn’t have wished for a better set of lads here.

“It’s a challenge for me and something I’ve wanted to do for a while, to get a few run outs is great for my development.

“There are plenty of players at Leeds that have done it, if you can impress on these loans it makes you a lot stronger.”
