NEWS | Johnston says Dons should fear no one

Confidence is high in the Dons squad as they prepare for Sunday’s trip to league leaders Barrow Raiders, according to Ben Johnston.
The Dons head to Cumbria in good spirits after a win at Coventry Bears, and know that victory would allow them to move level with the division’s early pacesetters.
Johnston said: “Cumbria is always a hard place to go, but we’re going full of confidence with no fear. We’ll stick to what we’re good at, our processes, and hope to come away with a result.
“We can hopefully keep going well, we know it’s a massive game but we’ve been going into training full of confidence and look forward to that one.”
The Dons are unbeaten in seven games, with Sunday’s trip to Barrow a fourth successive away game for Johnston and co. The games have been tough, but the points have kept ticking over and the Dons have moved up to second in the table.
He added “If we can pick up these good results on the road it always helps, hopefully we’ll get back home in good stead.
“It’s always nice to put on a decent performance for travelling fans, they’ve come all this way and you don’t want to let anyone down.
“The momentum you build when you’re winning breeds confidence. we’ve only really had one 80-minute performance, away at North Wales, so we’re still looking for that more often but there’s plenty for us to work on and we’re still picking up those points.”
