NEWS | Johnston enjoying life as a Don

Ben Johnston feels he has settled into life well as a Dons player - after playing an integral role in Sunday’s win at Coventry Bears.
Johnston was a constant threat through the middle and set up a number of tries in the come-from-behind victory.
He said: “I’m loving it. I look forward to training, there’s a real good balance between hard work and enjoyment, we work hard but enjoy each other’s company and have a good laugh.
“I feel like I’m linking up well with Matty in the halves - and it’s a cliche but the forwards lay the foundations for us.”
The Dons fell behind early at Butts Park on Sunday, fighting back from 10-0 and 16-6 down to take control in the second period.
Johnston added: “In the first half they caught us cold really, they seemed a bit more hungry. At half-time the coaches got us in and gave us a bit of a deserved dressing down really - and we put a few things right in the second half.
“They rolled us quite a bit in the first half which meant our attack was a bit flat. We showed that intent in our defence in the second half which set up the platform for our attack.”
