NEWS | Ross Whitmore signs for the Dons

The Dons have completed the signing of forward Ross Whitmore on a one-year deal.

Whitmore is a product of the Huddersfield Giants Academy, and has recently spent time playing Rugby Union with Yorkshire Carnegie.

The 20-year-old featured at loose forward most often during his time with the Giants and will add more competition for places within the Dons pack in 2021.

Whitmore said: “I’d like to thank Carl Hall and Richard Horne for giving me the opportunity to sign for the club.

“My decision was made quite easy after speaking to them both as their vision for the club excited me.

“I feel like this is a great chance for me to develop myself as a player and I’m really looking forward to the 2021 season with the Dons.”
