Doncaster Rugby League are delighted to announce the signing of Fijian international winger Mikaele Ravalawa on loan from Castleford Tigers until the end of the 2026 Betfred Championship campaign.

Ravalawa joined the Tigers earlier this year on a three-year deal and arrives in South Yorkshire with a wealth of Super League experience. Known for his powerful carries, strong defensive work and try-scoring ability, the 28-year-old adds further quality and competition to Richard Horne's squad as the season enters a crucial stage.

During his time at Castleford, Ravalawa has impressed with several strong performances, including appearances against Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors, while Dons supporters also witnessed his qualities during Castleford's pre-season visit to the Eco-Power Stadium.

Ravalawa will link up with his new teammates on Friday as preparations continue for Sunday's Championship clash against Oldham at the Club Doncaster Sports Village.

Head Coach Richard Horne said:
We’re delighted to welcome Ravalawa a powerful and exciting outside back to Doncaster RFL. He’s a player who brings strength, pace, and real physicality every time he takes the field.

He never shies away from the tough carries or big defensive moments. We believe he’ll make a huge impact for us and become a real fan favourite.

We’re excited to see what he can achieve in a Doncaster shirt and can’t wait to get him integrated into the squad.”
