Pre-match: Horne wants to see progress as Dons host Newcastle in Challenge Cup

Richard Horne insists the Dons are now in a building process after starting the season with the impressive win over Halifax Panthers.

Horne’s side are in Challenge Cup action against Newcastle Thunder on Sunday at the Eco-Power Stadium, looking to line up a third round tie against Super League outfit Castleford Tigers.

After a truncated pre-season, much of the tactical and structural duties remains a work in progress and the head coach has made it clear what improvements he wants to see from the victory over Halifax.
