Dons sign centre James Glover on two-year deal

We are delighted to confirm the signing of centre James Glover on a two-year deal.

The 31-year-old has become the fifth new addition ahead of the 2026 campaign following his departure from Featherstone Rovers.

Glover has more than 120 Championship appearances to his name, scoring 59 tries.

“It’s been a bit of a whirlwind past few weeks for myself so I’m really pleased to get something sorted,” he said. “I can focus on next year now. My full focus is on Doncaster now and I can’t wait to get going.

“It’s a fresh challenge and one that I’m really excited by.”

Glover started his career with Dewsbury Rams and has also featured for York and Sheffield Eagles across two spells, before joining Featherstone midway through last season.

Head coach Richard Horne said: “He’s a strike player. We were a bit short on edge players when we looked at the squad.

“When James became available, we wanted to have the conversation and it’s great to have him on board.”
