Tyla Hepi said he never considered joining any other club in English rugby league ahead of extending his contract with the Dons.

The forward has signed a new two-year contract and said remaining with the club was the top of his wish list heading into 2026.

“This was a no-brainer for me because I never really wanted to go anywhere else,” he said. “For me, if I wasn’t staying here, I would have probably gone back home to New Zealand.

“I’m invested in trying to achieve something with this club and it’s where I want to be.”
