Tom Holmes believes Dons supporters have every reason to be optimistic about the prospects of the squad assembled ahead of the 2026 campaign.

The full back followed Muizz Mustapha, Cory Aston and Connor Jones in joining the club and believes the Dons will possess an exciting side set to tackle the Championship next season.

“I’ve played against Doncaster a lot over the last few years and they’ve got a really exciting team,” he said. “There’s some exciting players coming in as well.

“When I met with Rich and Carl it was a real positive meeting. Talking about the vision of the club, they were ambitious but realistic at the same time which I think is important.

“They expressed to me that they want me to be a part of that and they want me to be that for the next few years.

“That’s what I want. I want to come here and push the club as far as I can and I’m really excited to hopefully do that over the next few years.”
