Watch Connor Jones' first interview as a Dons player

Past experiences against the club had new boy Connor Jones eager to join the Dons.

The hooker has signed a two-year deal with the club ahead of the 2026 campaign and says the competitive nature of his clashes with the Dons as a Featherstone Rovers player convinced him he would be joining a team on the up.

“The squad as it is already, I really like it,” the 29-year-old said. “I’ve always found it a tough game coming up against Doncaster.

“Speaking to Rich [Horne, head coach] and Carl [CEO] about some of the signings coming in, that really excited me as well.

“There’s players in there that I think I can play really well with, which excited me along with the two or three year plan of where they want to take the club.”
