Dons potential 'is limitless' - Robinson

Connor Robinson believes the potential of the Dons is limitless and he is looking forward to helping the club achieve.
The scrum half has signed a new two-year contract with the club and is determined to help chief executive Carl Hall in the chase for Super League rugby.
That begins with progression in the Championship in 2026, with Robinson insisting that a top four finish must be the target.
“I said after we got promoted that the potential is limitless and it can go wherever it wants to go,” the 31-year-old said. “There’s the backing of the board and the fans and the calibre of player that they’re bringing in.
“We’ve got to be looking at top four next season and if we aren’t right up there, we’ve done something seriously wrong and I’m sure the lads will take it on their backs and admit that.
“With what the club is doing for us, we need to repay a bit of faith in them.”
Robinson admits only feeling disappointment at the conclusion of last season - something which is shared across all the remaining squad.
And he believes that will drive the group forward in 2026.
He said: “We all felt filthy as a group at the end of the season.
“It was just one of those years unfortunately. Where we wanted to be was way off where we finished and I think you could see that with the players’ reactions at the end of that Halifax game.
“There was the odd blowout game but in the main, when we lost it was by two or four. It’s more frustrating when you know you can turn those losses into victories so easily.
“It’ll have to be high standards from day one. Not that we don’t have high standards, but they have to be high and driven by everyone. It has to be something that everyone buys into from day one and you can’t carry two or three blokes that are happy to kick back and take their money.
“It has to be everyone. That’s how it is across the Championship now, with the standard of players that are coming down from Super League. We need to be on it.”
