Horne excited to get extra ten per cent from Robinson

Richard Horne is excited at the prospect of bringing more out of Connor Robinson after the scrum half extended his stay with the Dons.
Robinson signed a new two-year deal to carry him through to the end of the 2027 campaign.
And head coach Horne believes an expanded squad and an increase in standards throughout the group will only bring out the best from the 31-year-old.
“I really believe we can still bring a lot more out of Connor,” Horne said. “He’s been a big player for us but there’s still more to come.
“He’s got the bit between his teeth and he’s been having a fantastic off-season so we know he’s going to hit the ground running when we all get back in. He wants to get better and that fire inside him will be really important.
“I think he’s going to grow even more as a player with what we are building heading into next season.
“He won’t be the only one. I think the group is going to get stronger and bring each other one. But I think the players that we surround Connor with are really going to bring out the best in him.
“It’s our job to get an extra ten per cent out of Connor and the other halfs in the squad.
“I know he’s thought at lot about how we finished last season and we’ve spoken about it. I’m really excited to see what he delivers because the determination is there.”
