Cory Aston insists he is hungry for a new challenge that will bring out his best after joining the Dons on a two-year deal.

The stand off has switched across South Yorkshire from his native Sheffield and cannot wait to get started with his new club.

“As soon as it was all done, I was already buzzing and couldn’t wait to get going,” he said. “It’s a new challenge for me so they’re going to bring out the best of me moving forward.

“I’m 30 years old and I just want to keep getting better. I want to work with the backroom staff to see where I can improve and keep getting better.”
