Dons sign Super League prop Muizz Mustapha

We are delighted to confirm the signing of forward Muizz Mustapha on a two-year deal.

Powerful prop Mustapha becomes the first new addition to the squad ahead of the 2026 season.

The 25-year-old opted to cut short his contract at Super League side Castleford Tigers in order to join the Dons.

“I’m really excited to be here,” Mustapha said. “It’s been going on for a while but I’m really pleased to get it done and for me to be here.

“There’s some big ambitions for the club and I’m just excited to be a part of that moving forward.”

Nigeria-born Mustapha has more than 60 Super League appearances to his name, having turned out for Leeds Rhinos, Hull KR and Castleford.

Dons head coach Richard Horne said: “This is a great signing for us.

“He’s a young, aggressive, powerful forward with a lot of Super League experience, which will only help us raise our levels. He’s going to be a key part of the squad as we look to progress.”
