NEWS | Show your support for the Boyle family at the Widnes game

Dons fans will have the opportunity to support the family of one of our own during our opening home league game of the season.
All proceeds from the half time draw against Widnes Vikings on March 23 will be donated to the family of former Dons skipper Ryan Boyle following the devastating diagnosis of a stage four brain tumour his wife Katie received.
Ryan said: “Our world feels like it has come crashing down and we are absolutely heartbroken.
“After visiting the doctors with headaches, Katie got sent to the hospital where she had a CT scan and was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
“We are looking into every other possible option to give Katie the best chance.”
The winner of the half time draw will receive Ryan’s final Dons shirt signed by the man himself.
Dons chief executive Carl Hall said: “Ryan is very much part of the Dons family, and we were all devastated to hear the news of Katie’s diagnosis.
“We know our supporters are the best and will rally round and look after one of our own.
“So please if you were going to buy one draw ticket at the game, please buy two and lets raise as much as we can to help them out in their time of need."

We will also be holding a collection at the game as well as the Lunch with the Legends event on March 15.
