NEWS | New head of development appointed

We are delighted to welcome Andy Castle as our new head of development.

Andy joins us from Super League Wakefield Trinity where he was the Primary Rugby League Specialist working within the local primary schools having previously served in the armed forces and prison service.

He has coaching experience with both Garforth Tigers, within the junior age groups and the Oulton Raidettes girls team.

Andy said “I’m excited to join such a progressive club as Doncaster, everyone who I spoke to prior to joining only had good things to say about them.

“I can’t wait to get started and work with all our local community and ambassador clubs along with local primary schools.”

Chief executive, Carl Hall said “Andy was the outstanding candidate when we were looking to appoint our new head of development.

“His experience within rugby league and specifically the junior game will be invaluable as we continue to progress and grow our fanbase.”

Places are still available to book for our Primary Coaches CPD evening hosted by Andy.

The event takes place on Wednesday February 5 at 6.30pm in the Belle Vue Bar at the Eco-Power Stadium.  You can book your place by CLICKING HERE
