NEWS | Two more years for Alex Sutcliffe

We are delighted to announce that Alex Sutcliffe has signed on for two more years extending his stay in South Yorkshire until the end of the 2026 season.

Second rower Sutcliffe, signed for the Dons from Super League Castleford Tigers prior to the start of the 2024 season.

Alex has made 39 Super League appearances for both the Tigers and Leeds Rhinos.

Alex said “Signing up again for two more years was a no brainer for me.

“This team is going places, and we are so together, we can’t wait to get stuck into pre-season and get ready to give the Championship a real good go.”

Head Coach, Richard Horne said “Alex is a vital cog in our pack and brings that Super League experience to our edges.

“We are delighted the Alex has agreed to stay with us for two more years.”
