NEWS | Tyla Hepi signs new one year contract

We are delighted to announce that prop Tyla Hepi has signed a new one-year contract to stay with the Dons for the 2025 Championship season.

Hepi joined the Dons from Featherstone in 2024 having previously played in Super League for Castleford Tigers  

He made 11 appearances last season before picking up an ACL injury that put him out for the season.  

Tyla said “My season was cut short in ‘24 with the ACL, but I’m on the journey back now and ready to rip into pre-season.

“Last year you didn’t get to see the best of me because of the injury, but the club were amazing with me, so I’m going to pay you all back in 2025 and not leave anything out on that field.”  

Head coach Richard Horne said “Tyla gives us that power and destructive element in the centre of the field.  

“I can’t wait to see him out on the field next year fully fit and ready to go.”
