NEWS | Greg Burns signs on for two more years

We are delighted to announce that Greg Burns has committed to the Dons for another two years which will see him stay at the Eco-Power Stadium until the conclusion of the 2026 campaign.

29-year-old Hooker, Burns, signed from local rivals Sheffield Eagles in 2021 and has made 49 appearances for the Dons scoring five tries in the process.  

Greg said ''I've really enjoyed my time at the Dons with such a great bunch of blokes both on and off the field.  

“Last season was amazing, but we are going to smash into pre-season and continue to improve on what we achieved in 2024.  

Head Coach Richard Horne said “Re-signing Greg was such an easy decision for myself and the staff, we know exactly what we are getting.  

“On the pitch, an absolute warrior, 100% maximum effort and off the pitch an integral part of the group.”
