INTERVIEW | Horne looks ahead to Halifax clash
Doncaster RLFC host Halifax at the Eco-Power Stadium this weekend looking to widen the gap between to two sides in the Championship to five points.
Horne speaking to guest media interviewer Sonny Smeaton, said “It’s a massive game for us, we’ve spoken about it all week and I’m sure they’re talking about it too.
I watched their game against Wakefield and I think the strength and speed of Wakefield got the better of them, but in patches they played some really good stuff and when they get their shape right and execute at the speed they can, we’re going to have to be good defensively.”
With only five games remaining in the Championship, two of which are on home soil, the Dons will back themselves for a strong run in.
The Dons head coach agreed with that statement saying, “Certainly, I think we’ve shown enough this season that we’re a threat and teams have to worry about us and what we’ve got.”
Horne went on to discuss the positive headache of having players to choose from and decisions to make in terms of squad selection.
