Dons holiday camp success!

The Dons in collaboration with Bentley ARLFC delivered a very successful holiday camp this week with local children turning up to get active with Dons coaching and playing staff

The programme funded by the DFE and Doncaster Council was delivered this week by Dons coaching and playing staff using the brand new facilities at community club Bentley ARLFC. 

Children from across the city attended to take part in learning rugby skills with Dons players Joe Lovodua and Watson Boas, as well as enjoying other fun activities during this festive period camp. 

Dons head of development Martin Rowlands said, "Using the clubs reach across the city along with the funding we were successful in attaining is important not only for introducing children to rugby league but to give young people across our city fun and engaging activities to get involved with in a healthy and safe environment." 

The camp is just one of the latest community projects Doncaster RLFC are leading after several holiday camps throughout 2023 as well as the reduce reoffending programme being delivered in HMP Holme House and the build a healthy mindset catch-ups for men hosted at the Eco-Power Stadium.
