NEWS | Ben Johnston commits future to Doncaster RLFC

The stand-off has put pen to paper in a new two-year deal extending his stay at the Dons.

The 31-year-old will remain at the Eco-Power Stadium after playing his part in last season's promotion winning campaign.

''It’s like home to me now and helped me rediscover my love for the game," Johnston said. "The coaches and Carl [Hall] get me as a person and I’m allowed to be myself."

Both chief executive Hall and head coach Horne are working hard behind the scenes to secure the strong core of players who were key to winning promotion via the play-offs this year, now adding Johnston to the already signed Connor Robinson.

The stand off joined the Dons in September 2020. He was pivotal to the Dons 2023 success constantly creating opportunities for those around him whilst also going over the line himself several times in impressive fashion.
