NEWS | Dons confirm released list

The Dons can confirm the departures of Travis Corion, Aaron Ollett-Hobson, Dave Petersen, Dean Roberts, Jack Sanderson, Ross Whitmore and Brandan Wilkinson following the end of the 2023 campaign.

Head coach Richard Horne said: “All these boys have played a massive part in creating a winning culture within the squad during their time with us both on and off the pitch. 

“I would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them well for the future.”  

Chief executive Carl Hall said: “I would like to thank every single one of them for their contribution to our club and wish them all the very best on their future careers.”  

Corion scored 12 tries in 33 appearances for the club over the 2022 and 2023 campaigns while Petersen scored four in 26 matches and Roberts two in 32 appearances over the same period.

Ollett-Hobson made 44 appearances over four seasons for The Dons, scoring 12 tries with hooker Whitmore scoring three tries in 46 matches after joining in 2021.

Back Sanderson returned to the Dons in 2022 having spent time on dual registration in 2018 and made 44 appearances with 24 tries and 15 goals, prop forward Dean Roberts made 32 appearances scoring 2 tries over the last two seasons.

Forward Wilkinson's time at the club comes to an end after six seasons in which he made 40 appearances and scored three tries.
