WATCH | Connor Robinson reacts to Dons promotion final win

The Dons beat North Wales Crusaders 18-6 at the Eco-Power Stadium to win promotion to the Betfred Championship

It was a battling performance but a few individual moments saw the Dons come out victors on their home patch in front of a season record attendance. 

Robinson on winning promotion:

“It feels mint, absolutely mint you can't put a price on that there's no words to describe it other than absolutely buzzing.”

Robinson on that promotion final match: 

“It was what you expect in a play-off final, there's too much at stake but we come up with the goods in the end and got it done.” 

Half-back on the Dons supporters:

“Massive noise that, you know when they scored and we kick-off and they're still behind us. I said before they've given us the extra legs in that last ten minutes and we go on and score to win the game.”   

The Dons beat North Wales Crusaders 18-6 in what was a tight contest but it was the Dons that came out on top with a huge Doncaster crowd behind them throughout the 80 minutes.
