WATCH | Matt James looks ahead to Betfred League One finale

The Dons prop said the league has been at a good standard this season with most teams turning up week by week and if you don't bring your a-game you're going to get beat.

Doncaster RLFC close out the league campaign hosting this season's title winners Dewsbury Rams. However, the focus for the Dons is on securing third spot which will reward them with a home tie for the first week of the playoffs.  

James on what Dewsbury will bring:

“They've won the comp so they can come and play without any pressure and they'll want to go out on a high.”

James on squad mentality as playoffs get closer: 

“We've put some big scores on in the last two games so we're getting a bit of confidence and we're raring to go. Dewsbury will be a good test to stand us in good stead for the playoffs.” 

The Dons host Dewsbury Rams this Sunday, August 27 in their final Betfred League One fixture of the season, before heading into the playoffs with hopes of promotion still very much alive.
