WATCH | Travis Corion reacts to dominant Dons 60-0 victory over Cornwall RLFC
The winger said he was definitely tired after the amount of carries he made today in an impressive display as the Dons put Cornwall to the sword.
Doncaster RLFC continued on from last week's 60-0 victory away at London Skolars in a carbon copy win in front of their home fans in the Eco-Power Stadium.
Corion on team performance:
“We all looked sharp today and it's good to hit a bit of form going into the playoffs and that's what we're focussed on as a team.”
Corion on scoring with a run from his own half:
“After receiving the ball I looked up to see how far it was to run and thought, oh god, but you've got to back yourself as a winger.”
The winger was one of many in a Dons shirt that put in a high-level performance resulting in an extremely dominant victory in front of a home crowd.
Corion on competition for places raising performance levels:
“Yes you can see it in training the anti has gone up, I don't think we have any bad players or anyone that's not in form at the moment. I don't envy head coach Richard Horne at all having to pick a squad for next week or the playoffs.”
The Dons host Dewsbury Rams next Sunday, August 27 in their final Betfred League One fixture of the season, before heading into the playoffs with hopes of promotion still very much alive.
