NEWS | Connor Robinson looks ahead to London Skolars

This season's Dons top points scorer says the players egos are battered and bruised after recent form.
Robinson says that the coaching staff and players have had a tough and honest video review session to identify and rectify what doesn't seem to be clicking for the Dons as of late.
Robinson on the current mood in camp:
“Our egos are battered and bruised it hurts us boys losing especially when the games are very much winnable, but it just isn’t clicking for us and we have addressed the areas in a tough and honest video review and will be going to put out a performance that us as players and the staff can be proud of this Friday night.”
The Dons half spoke from a players perspective around preparing for this week's evening game away at London Skolars, saying after recent defeats the players have had an honest conversation between themselves, along with the coaches the improvement areas have been identified and that it's down to the players as men to do what is needed to get the right result.
Robinson on the importance of team-morale at the business end of the season:
"The boys are a very tight group and morale is high we know how good we can be and when it clicks we are a force, but it’s huge that we’ve had a purple patch and still tight and we're all in this together for the play-offs, now it’s time to get to work and in play-off rugby win by one or one-hundred it’s about winning."
The Dons travel to London Skolars in Betfred League One this Friday, August 11 for a 7pm kick-off.
