WATCH | Captain Sam Smeaton on reaching 100 career tries

Captain Sam Smeaton surpassed 100 career tries as the Dons beat Rochdale Hornets at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Starting the day on 99, Smeaton scored a hat trick in the 42-20 triumph as the Dons overcame a half time deficit.    

Smeaton on team spirit:

“We know if we have a fair share of the ball we can put teams in awkward positions, we can cause teams some damage. We're a really good team and we have a really good team spirit and I think that showed today”   

Smeaton on personal milestone: 

"Personal stuff like that is nice but more for my family"

The Dons are next in action on the road at Oldham RLFC Sunday, June 18.
