NEWS | Ben Howe to leave The Dons

Ben Howe's near four-year stay with the Dons has come to an end after he requested his release from the club.
The 22-year-old returned from a long term injury at the beginning of this season but has found game time hard to come by with the Dons in great form so far this term.
Howe said: "I've been at the club for nearly four years now and I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had.
"I'm leaving on good terms and want to thank Carl Hall, Richard Horne, Chris Plume, all of the staff and the lads I've played with over that time"
"The opportunities for game time just haven't been there this season, which is understandable with the team playing so well. I'll still be getting down to games where possible throughout the remainder of the season, but right now I just want to be playing rugby on a regular basis and moving on is the best thing for my career at this moment"
Chief executive Carl Hall said: "Ben has requested a release and we've granted it. Albeit disappointing to lose Ben, we agree that it's in his best interests. He needs to go and play some rugby.
"We wish Ben the best of luck and we'll be keeping an eye on him and where his career goes next"
