NEWS | Brett Ferres found not guilty of Grade F charge

A tribunal panel has found Brett Ferres not guilty of a 'contact with a match official' charge.

Second row Ferres was referred to a tribunal after it was alleged he made contact with the referee during the Dons' trip to Dewsbury Rams on May 14.

The potential Grade F offence could have resulted in a lengthy ban for Ferres. However, after attending the tribunal along with chief executive Carl Hall to put forward their defence, the 37-year-old was found not guilty.

Hall said "We've had a fair hearing and one in which Brett acted professionally throughout. We're pleased with the outcome and now look to move forward".

Ferres will be available for selection for our next fixture away at Midlands Hurricanes on June 4.
