MATCH PREVIEW | London Broncos v Dons

The Dons face Championship outfit London Broncos in the fourth round of the Betfred Challenge Cup this weekend.

Experienced forward Luke Cooper could be in line for his Dons debut, after signing on loan from Featherstone Rovers.

Richard Horne’s side have beaten fellow League One sides Oldham and Workington Town in the competition so far, to set up a tie in the capital.

The Dons have won all of their competitive games in 2023, after also seeing off Hunslet, Rochdale Hornets and North Wales Crusaders respectively.

The last competitive meeting between the two sides came in the second tier back in 2015, when the Broncos ran out 52-12 winners towards the back end of the campaign.

The Broncos booked their place in round four with a commanding 32-10 win over fellow Championship side Whitehaven on March 11.

They currently sit eighth in their respective league table, having won three of their seven games so far - beating Whitehaven on the first of their two meetings, Newcastle Thunder and Swinton Lions.

Saturday’s tie will kick-off at 3pm, and is being played at Rosslyn Park Rugby Club, due to the Broncos’ usual venue being used for other events that weekend.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, and U16s go free. You can get yours by CLICKING HERE.
