NEWS | Smeaton voted man of the match against North Wales Crusaders

Dons supporters on Twitter voted captain Sam Smeaton as their man of the match following his performance against North Wales Crusaders in Betfred League One.

The skipper bagged a hat-trick at the Eco-Power Stadium as the Dons ran out 30-16 winners to continue their 100% winning start to the season.

Smeaton collected 55% of the vote, with centre Misi Taulapapa in second place with 19%.

Outside backs Brad Hey and Travis Corion were also included, with the latter scoring the Dons’ final try of the day in fine style.
