NEWS | Connor Robinson voted man of the match against Hunslet

Dons supporters on Twitter voted Connor Robinson as their man of the match following his performance against Hunslet in Betfred League One.

The No.7 made a brilliant break to set up the Dons’ first try of 2023 for Elliot Hall, and also kicked three conversions to help his side on their way to an 18-16 opening day victory.

Robinson received 45% of the vote, with Loui McConnell, who also got on the scoresheet at the Eco-Power Stadium, was in second with 22%.

Forwards Matt James and Brad Knowles both impressed on their competitive debuts for the club, and were also included as standout performers.
