NEWS | Estabulo become part of the Dons family

Brazilian restaurant Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill have become part of the Dons family by agreeing to sponsor the club’s player of the match awards in 2023.
There will be a separate award for every Dons home league game, with the player picked receiving a voucher to use in the restaurant.
The voucher will be presented to the winner at the Eco-Power Stadium after each fixture.
Situated at the Herten Triangle, Estabulo celebrate a centuries-old way of cooking. Large skewers of prime cuts of meats are cooked on open flames to your liking and brought right to your table-side.
On offer is unlimited table-side service of eight cuts of meat for lunch and 15 cuts of meat for dinner, unlimited sides, gourmet salad bar and Brazilian hot buffet all for a fixed price.
The best part of all this for Dons fans is that Estabulo is open from 12noon-9pm on every Sunday, meaning you can head in before or after our home games.
As well as their base in Doncaster, Estabulo have several other venues, including in Leeds, Wakefield, Harrogate and York.
Becky Sampson from the Dabangg hospitality group, is the daughter of the late former Dons coach David, who brought chief executive Carl Hall to the club back in 1989.
Becky said: “All of this came about through Carl Hall and the fact my Dad was the coach, we’ve kept in touch over the years and he approached me when he realised what I do for work.
“As a company it’s only really this year we’ve started reaching out and doing things like this. The team came in for food and when we discussed sponsoring the man of the match award it felt like a good way to give something back to the Dons.
“Carl knew my Dad for a lot of years and was kind enough to invite us to the game where there was a minute’s silence after he passed.
“It’s something we can do which benefits everyone, the players can help us and we can reward their performances with our hospitality.
Carl Hall said: “I just want to thank Becky and Estabulo for agreeing to be our man of the match sponsor for the full season, and looking after the boys in pre-season.
“They had Samoa in the restaurant during the World Cup and their hospitality was first class, and after speaking to Becky it was great to chat about rugby league and my memories of her Dad.
“It means a lot to have that connection with the club and Becky and her family are massive rugby league fans, so we look forward to building our partnership in the future.”
