NEWS | Brad Hey signs for the Dons

The Dons are delighted to announce the signing of Brad Hey on a one-year deal.

Hey, who can operate at centre or in the back row, most recently played for Hunslet in Betfred League One who he joined in 2020.

Prior to that, the 28-year-old was York Knights’ longest serving player, having spent five years in North Yorkshire, racking up almost 100 appearances in the process.

Hey said: “I’m looking forward to it. I had a year out due to work commitments and I was keen to get back in so when the opportunity came about I jumped at it.

“The squad is a good one and it looks set up to try and win promotion so I can’t wait to get started and try to help the club achieve its goal.

“I had experience of going up with York a few years back and that group was a really strong one, from what I hear the one I’m joining is exactly the same.”
