NEWS | Dave Petersen signs new Dons deal

The Dons are delighted to confirm that forward Dave Petersen has signed a new one-year deal at the Eco-Power Stadium.

The deal will see the former Hull Kingston Rovers and York City Knights man head into a second season with the club.

Petersen made 22 appearances and scored two tries in 2022 as the Dons reached the Betfred League One play-off final.

He said: "I am very pleased to be staying at the Dons for another year, and I feel we have some unfinished business after how last season finished.

"With a great set of lads retained and some new blood added I am confident we can go and get the job done in 2023.

"I have to give a big thanks to the fans and the club, we can feel that everyone is behind us in getting to where we want to be. The hard work starts now and we can't wait for it."

Sam Smeaton, Jason Tali, Watson Boas, Connor Robinson, Ben Johnston, Greg Burns, Keelan Foster, Jose Kenga, Tom Halliday, Brad Knowles, Dean Roberts, Elliot Hall, Alex Holdstock, Loui McConnell, Aaron Ollett-Hobson, Travis Corion, Matt James, Dave Petersen.
