MATCH PREVIEW | Dons v Hunslet

The Dons return to action this weekend to take on Hunslet at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Richard Horne’s side last played on May 21, when they were beaten by Rochdale Hornets following a high-scoring game at the Crown Oil Arena.

The Dons were ahead with little over a quarter of the game remaining, but four tries in 20 minutes took the game away from them.

They currently sit two points off Swinton in fourth, although the Lions do have a game in hand.

Sunday’s opponents are one point and one place behind the Dons in the Betfred League One table, having won half of their games this season.

Hunslet have won their past two away games after victories on the road against Midlands Hurricanes and West Wales Raiders respectively.

The Dons will be hosting supporters in the SMTXtra USA East Stand concourse after the game against Hunslet.

Amongst the entertainment available for fans after the game will be a DJ, post-match player presentations and a chance to meet the players. Food and drink will also be available from the concourse outlets, which will remain open until 7pm.
