NEWS | Loui McConnell rejoins the Dons

The Dons are pleased to confirm that forward Loui McConnell has rejoined the club on an initial two-week loan from Betfred Championship side Featherstone Rovers.

McConnell played four times for the club towards the end of last season, including scoring on his debut against Barrow Raiders at the Eco-Power Stadium.

He returned to Rovers before the Dons’ play-off campaign got underway, but is now back with Richard Horne’s side for the start of the 2022 season.

The 22-year-old could be in line for a second debut in blue and gold in Sunday’s Betfred League One opener against Midlands Hurricanes.
