NEWS | Josef Fella joins the Dons

The Dons have signed prop forward Josef Fella on a one-year deal.

The 20-year-old is a product of the Castleford Tigers academy, and will bring even more enthusiasm to the pack in 2021.

His father Tony played 17 games for the Dons in the 2001 season, scoring two tries.

Josef said: “I’m delighted to be signing for the Dons and I’m really looking forward to the new challenge and season ahead.

“Obviously with a long lay-off due to the pandemic, I’m even more eager to get back out on the field and do my best for the team.”

Chief executive Carl Hall said: “Joe was brought to our attention by Castleford and I’m really pleased to bring him to the club. “I look forward to working with him and wish him all the best in a Dons shirt.”
