NEWS | Bravo taking it game by game

Danny Bravo says he is looking to put his injury problems behind him by having a successful year with the Dons in 2020.

The Batley Bulldogs loanee made his debut in the game against Barrow Raiders last weekend, and says he is feeling fitter as each week goes by.

He said: “I’ve been working hard to stay injury free, it is always at the back of your mind so being able to put a run of games together is a big boost.

“I was out for three years so for me it’s about ticking each game off at a time and keep heading in the right direction throughout the year.

“My aim is to play as many games as I can and do well, but there is a lot of competition for places here so I know I’ll have to work hard for that.”

With West Wales providing the next test for the Dons in Betfred League One, Bravo says the players are focusing on continuing their improvements.

He added: “West Wales will come and have a dig because they have nothing to lose, so its up to us to try and take the game to them.

“We’ve got a good pitch to play on and with a lot of skilful players we know we can hurt teams if we get some space.

“If the forwards can lay the platform then it gives the back-line space to get hold of the ball and cause problems for them.”

Tickets for the game against West Wales Raiders are available now from tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
