Tries from Ryan Boyle, Brandon Douglas, Josh Rickett and Jason Tali were not enough to get the Dons off to a winning start in the new campaign as they were beaten by Barrow Raiders.

Richard Horne's side were 12-8 in front at the break but the Raiders battled back to win 32-22 at the Keepmoat Stadium.
