NEWS | Donating on World Book Day

Dons supporters are encouraged to donate children’s books which they no longer use to the Club Doncaster Foundation, for distribution to young people in aid of World Book Day.

Donated books must be of good quality (new, or nearly new) with no ripped pages, underlining or highlighting and should be suitable for children aged 3-11.

Books can be donated at the Keepmoat Stadium East Stand reception at the following times:

Monday February 24 – 8.30am-4.30pm Tuesday February 25 – 8.30am-4.30pm Wednesday February 26 – 8.30am-4.30pm Thursday February 27 – 8.30am-4.30pm Friday February 28 – 8.30am-4pm

Books can also be donated at the Club Store ahead of Dons’ upcoming home match against Barrow Raiders on March 1.

Or at the following Belles and Rovers home matches:

Wednesday February 19 at Oxford Street ahead of Belles vs Long Eaton United.

Saturday February 29 at Club Store ahead of Doncaster Rovers’ match vs Wycombe Wanderers.

Supporters who are unable to make the trip to the Keepmoat Stadium within the above times can donate books at the Rovers140 pop-up hub during normal opening hours.

Book donations cannot be accepted at any of the above locations after March 1.

All donations will be gratefully received and distributed widely to support literacy and reading skills in Doncaster and beyond.
