The Dons made it back-to-back wins in Betfred League One with a comfortable 72-0 victory at West Wales Raiders.

Richard Horne’s side scored 14 unanswered tries to tighten their grip on a top six spot.

They got off to the perfect start as Richie Owen found Sam Doherty who continued his fine form with a smart finish in the corner with just over a minute on the clock.

It didn’t take long before they were in again as Kyle Kesik forced his way over to go over under the sticks from close range.

The Dons were chasing more points and found them with 15 minutes gone, as a swift move to the left saw Brad Foster hold off two defenders to score.

Kesik was proving to be influential as he supported a break from Russ Spiers before doing well to put Watson Boas through a gap to add to the lead.

There was still time for two more tries before half-time, as props Connor Scott and Stefanos Bastas both used their power to get themselves on the scoresheet.

The points kept on coming after the break, as Connor Bower scored two tries on the right edge within the opening five minutes of the second period.

Quick hands from left to right then saw Richie Owen cross in the corner, before Bower sealed his hat-trick as he raced away from the Raiders defence to score.

Doherty would go on to finish the match with four tries, showing a ruthless streak as he added to his tally either side of Jason Tali powering his way over.
