30th November 2018

Doncaster RLFC will be attending the first of three community visits, Saturday December 1, at Moorends Marauders ARLFC.

The first team squad will be in attendance from 8am taking part in an opening training session with head coach Richard Horne and assistant coach Pete Green.

Following the session, the players and staff will then run their own coaching session for junior players wishing to take up the game to allow youngsters to learn from the likes of Ryan Boyle, Jordie Hedges and Kieran Cross.

Speaking about the community visits Doncaster RLFC chief executive Carl Hall said: “Richard Horne and myself are keen to bring the Dons back into the local community by visiting Doncaster's core rugby league fans, in Bentley, Toll Bar and Moorends. These places are rich in rugby league supporters and players and by bringing our squad to theirs, we hope to engage with fans young and old, and hopefully encourage some future professional talent along the way.

“Fans are the lifeblood of our club, and if we can work with the local rugby communities over the upcoming weeks, and enthuse both junior players and the public, we can kick off the new Dons season with positivity and style.”

November 30 is the final day to secure a adults Doncaster RLFC Season Ticket for just £60, the most cost effective way to watch the Dons in 2019. To secure your seat call 01302 762576 or visit
