Richard Horne felt the Dons did themselves no favours in the defeat to Workington in Betfred League One.

Horne's side were beaten 34-6 in Cumbria, and the head coach was disappointed with the overall display.

He said: "It's a bad day at the office for us, our completion rate wasn't good enough so we have no complaints with the result.

"We knew it would be a tough game coming up here against a team with some big players in the middle, and we have to be better at dealing with that.

"Basic errors cost us at key times in the game, we conceded two tries in the last five minutes of the first-half which left us with a mountain to climb."

The Dons face a trip to table-topping Bradford this weekend, and Horne is hoping to see a response from his side against the Bulls.

He added: "We've had a few tough games in a row now and this will be another one of those, Bradford are a good side and we need to fix up our game before we face them.

"We didn't show them the best of us when we played them at our place, so that is the motivation for the boys now to go and perform how we know they can."
