Richard Horne was pleased with his side's decision making in the 70-18 win against West Wales Raiders in Betfred League One.

The Dons scored 13 tries on their way to victory against the Raiders and the head coach was happy to get the job done.

He said: "I thought we were very good in the first-half, we played the way we wanted to and had lots of energy going forward which resulted in some nice tries being scored.

"Second-half we came out a little bit slow and a couple of penalties and errors from us gave them opportunities near out line which they managed to take.

"We are a little bit disappointed that we didn't score more points, we made a lot of changes and were down to one on the bench near the end so we did it tough."

Horne's team were 42-0 up at half-time, and the points came from eight different try-scorers as they found a number of different avenues to exploit.

He added: "We've got a big month coming up and we've got to be better than what we showed, there is some work to do but I've got confidence in the boys that we can do it.

"When we played with some shape we looked dangerous, the halves picked the right passes and I thought we took our chances well so that is pleasing for us.

"We scored tries from all over the park so we have to be happy with that, we didn't really come here with a fixed edge to target so we were just looking for players to make the right decisions really."

The Dons return to the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday May 20 to take on Hunslet in Betfred League One, tickets are available from the Club Doncaster Box Office, on 01302 762576 or at
