Forward Brad Foster has agreed a new deal with the Dons which will keep him at the Keepmoat Stadium until the end of the 2021 campaign.

Foster enjoyed a fine first season back at the club in 2019, which ended in him being named as Man of Steel at the End of Season Awards night.

He said: “I really enjoy being at the club so I’m happy that I’ve done enough to earn a new deal with the Dons.

“Last season was a good one but also a big learning curve for all of us with falling short in the play-offs, we’ll take plenty from it and look to fix up the areas we feel we need to.

“Hopefully the boys that have renewed along with the signings the club are making can ensure we make a real push for promotion in 2020.”

Head coach Richard Horne said: “Brad was one of our most consistent players last season which earned him the Man of Steel award.

“He does the little things in games which can sometimes go unnoticed, and I am really pleased to have him on board as we continue to build our squad for 2020.”
