NEWS | Dave Petersen signs for the Dons

The Dons are delighted to confirm the signing of forward Dave Petersen on a one-year deal.

Petersen’s arrival will strengthen the pack in 2022, with the 29-year-old comfortable anywhere in the forwards.

After starting his career with Hull Kingston Rovers, he has since had spells with the likes of Bradford Bulls, Sheffield Eagles and York City Knights as well as spending time in Australia.

Petersen said: “I was out of the game last year but seeing the way Doncaster operate made me keen to get back into it.

“I want to be part of a successful side, I had a few chats with Richard Horne and it just felt right from both sides.

“Hopefully the experience I have can bring the best of those around me, as well my energy around the place.”
