Sice leads Haven to victory

Carl Sice\'s brace of tires led Whitehaven to a 25-18 victory over Doncaster in their Co-operative Championship 1 clash.

Doncaster went ahead in the ninth minute via Stewart Sanderson, but Sice scored two tries either side of the break to put Whitehaven ahead before Jessie Joe Parker extended the lead with a 65th-minute score.

Doncaster reduced arrears in the closing stages, with Carl Hughes crossing twice, but Richard Varkulis got on the scoresheet for the hosts on 73 minutes to put the game out of reach.
